Thank You. Summer Vacation. Wildtree.
What’s Made You Feel Good Lately?
Thank You
I want to thank everyone for reading my first update “I Fired Corporate America”. And the comments I received has given me the confidence I am on the right track regarding my career change to a health and fitness coach. For just about everyone, life has it’s ups and downs. I am no different.
To make those down moments easier, it was suggested I “journal”…writing down thoughts and happenings in my life. So that is what I’m doing. I am not doing it daily yet but so far it has been a healing process.
With sharing my journal, I hope to not only provide you with updates…but bring something of value. That is my goal…part of my Pay It Forward mantra. So thanks again for reading and providing your feedback…it’s greatly appreciated.
My Summer Vacation
As the summer sun has faded and the cool breeze of fall is filling the air, I couldn’t help but look back on this past summer. After my “day job” ended in the spring to embark on a new career as a health and fitness coach…it was quite a feeling to be breaking a 25 year routine.
The best description to explain how I felt…Freedom! Being free from many things, but what comes to mind first…no more Monday morning commute to the office to dread! How many of you can relate to that alarm clock ringing?
Now I didn’t become a total bum…well, if I don’t count the first two weeks anyway. Sure, no more commute…but my bank account was only going to last so far without getting my new career and business going.
But luckily I didn’t have to focus 100% on that…or at least made the choice not to. I committed to some things that made it an awesome summer. I will bring more of these moments in future updates…along with some video and pics but they include:
- Training and completing my second Ironman triathlon in British Columbia, Canada
- A 100 mile “century” bike ride with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training program in Lake Tahoe
- Traveling to St. Louis for the National Conference of Wildtree…one of my key solutions in my coaching to get people to Eat Better
- And despite being on “summer vacation”…enrolling in the Institute For Integrative Nutrition to become a certified holistic health coach

Wildtree
Wildtree has been an integral part of my message to Eat Better & Move More. I’ve been involved with Wild tree since the spring of 2009. Starting on a part-time basis, I’m glad I can devote more time to it now as part of my health and fitness coaching. Wildtree is an all natural food company that is growing like crazy.
Wildtree started out as a way for a single mom to feed her kids food that didn’t contain all the additives that have infiltrated today’s highly processed food supply. That was 15 years ago. Now they have something for everyone…whether concerned about your health or not. With around 200 items, their line covers everything from appetizers to desserts…breakfast, lunch and dinner.
I’ve been displaying at a lot of expos and fairs this fall throughout S.E. Michigan but will also do a home tasting or help you with fundraising. I am in the middle of contacting all my past contacts from these expos but feel free to contact me first.
I will show you how to Cook and Eat Healthier Meals and Reduce Kitchen Time Stress! Wouldn’t be nice to easily answer the question “What’s For Dinner?”
Let me know if you have an interest. You can read more about it at www.mywildtree.com/Fit4Life.
As always, thanks for reading and your comments are welcomed!
